Fawn Mckay
Fawn McCay, was born in Ogden Utah September 15, 1915. Fawn is a member of the Mormon Church's longest-running family, merged her writing expertise and impressive research skills into a brilliant biography on Joseph Smith. No Man Knew My History appeared in 1945. The name was taken from the sermon title delivered by Joseph Smith in 1844. In the sermon, he amazed his audience with his words: "You do not know me and you have never heard my heart. My past is not known to anyone. No one knows my history. Fawn has written the 29-year-old Fawn. From that point there have been at least three writers who have risen to the task. These documents are not lacking but they do contradict one with respect to each other. To assemble the documents -- to separate first hand accounts from thirdhand plagiarism, and then fit Mormon and non Mormon accounts together into a credible mosaic is no simple job.
