Taylor Swift, the rarest pop star, is one who managed to move over from country music to mainstream culture, and has become an icon of the pop world. Fearless was successful not only in America, but also with six platinum-certified songs. The Top Ten songs Love Story and the hit song You Belong with Me were the primary reasons behind this. But, it also did exceptionally well throughout the world. Speak Now delivered almost two years later and consolidated this success and moved Swift to the heights of superstardom. The singer's popularity increased over the course of her three subsequent albums - Red (2012) 1989 (2014) and Reputation (2017). Swift became a household name within an industry she felt was hers to be. Her popularity grew even after she reformulated her approach in 2020's more streamlined siblings the folk singer (and Evermore) and stayed atop of the pop world.
