Selena Marie Gomez (/s@/li:n@/ 'goUmez/s@–LEE-n@/ GOH-mez 22 July 1992) was an American actor, singer and producer. Gomez started her acting career in 2002 in the children's TV series Barney & Friends. She also stars in the Hulu comedy series, a mystery that airs on Hulu called Only Murders in the Building (21-21-222). The latter has earned Gomez high praise from critics, as well as nominations for an Golden Globe Award, and as a producer and producer, the Primetime Emmy Award . She has been honoured with numerous accolades, such as being named the Woman of the Year by Billboard in 2017. In 2017, she broke fifteen Guinness World Records. Time magazine named her one of the 100 most influential people in the world in 2020. Her following is huge on social media and is the most followed actress and musician on Instagram. Gomez's other ventures include makeup, clothing, handbag and fragrance lines. She has collaborated with numerous charities and has served as an UNICEF ambassador since she was 17 years old.
